West Grace Street between Ryland and the Boulevard in Richmond, Virginia, was designated by the City of Richmond an Old & Historic District in 1996 following a series of public meetings, an overwhelmingly positive vote of the property owners, and a formal request by the association.
In 2007, a committee of the West Grace Street Association created an opinion survey instrument, which was printed and mailed to all property owners in the district. Responses were analysed by graduate students in statistics supervised by Dr. Darcy Mays, Virginia Commonwealth University. The report is provided here in two formats:
