Now in its sixth decade, the Annual FDA Holiday House Tour features homes that capture the neighborhood’s architectural cohesiveness, yet its’ spectacular distinctiveness, that exists nowhere else in the US.

Come see what makes the Fan uniquely Richmond!

This year’s HHT introduces tour goers to many homes never before on the HHT, including the Taylor Estate, an Italian Renaissance Revival Home designed by Duncan Lee. The inclusion of the Taylor Estate on the 2024 HHT is dedicated to supporting the Tee Jay Vikings Fund and the scholarships they award to Thomas Jefferson High School scholars.

The Fan Area Historic District is a residential neighborhood developed largely from 1890-1930. The neighborhood is unquestionably one of the city’s greatest architectural assets displaying a rich, cohesive collection of historic homes in a variety of architectural styles such as Victorian, Italianate, Richardson Romanesque, Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, Bungalow, American Arts and Crafts, Tudor Revival, Spanish Colonial, and Art Deco.

The Annual Holiday House Tour raises funds to support the FDA’s dedication to the preservation, restoration, and betterment of the community.
